Job Summary
A client is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer in Charlotte, NC, to lead development in highly customized, fast-moving environments. This role involves designing, building, and implementing Force.com solutions, conducting code reviews, and developing custom features using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and LWC. The developer will also integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems, manage data migrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions, while supporting Classic-to-Lightning migrations and upholding security standards.
Must Have
- Salesforce Developer I certification (Platform Developer I)
- 5-8 years of hands-on development with Apex and Visualforce (complex, scalable patterns)
- Proven experience in highly custom Salesforce orgs (built from the ground up; deep customization)
- Successful track record migrating from Classic to Lightning (planning, execution, performance tuning)
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and contribute creatively within a team
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Computing (SaaS, PaaS) and Salesforce platform capabilities
- Experience developing Lightning Components and executing Classic-to-Lightning migrations
- Experience with Salesforce Communities
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications
- Data migration experience (ETL, mapping, validation)
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model (profiles, roles, sharing rules, permission sets)
- Ability to develop prototypes quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with AppExchange products such as Apttus CLM, GridBuddy, Conga, and DupeBlocker
Good to Have
- Experience with Salesforce DX (source-driven development, scratch orgs)
- Integration experience using MuleSoft
- Experience with Platform Events
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) development

The Salesforce Developer will lead development across Apex and Visualforce, support Classic-to-Lightning migrations, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions on the Salesforce platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement Force.com solutions following platform best practices
- Conduct peer code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce development standards
- Develop custom features using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and LWC (where applicable)
- Integrate Salesforce with back-office/enterprise systems (often via middleware) and manage complex data migrations
- Collaborate with admins, architects, and business stakeholders to prototype rapidly and iterate in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold security and governance standards aligned with the Salesforce security model
- Support and enhance Salesforce Communities and related configurations
Requirements
